Itinerary
DAY 01: ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – DARJEELING
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (500Ft / 150Mts), you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 96 kms / 3 Hrs) Check in hotel for night stay. Evening free to roam around Mall Road or local Shopping center.
DAY 02: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view the spectacular sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak),. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate and Ropeway, free for overnight.
DAY 03: DARJEELING – GANGTOK
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 110 kms / 04 Hrs). Check-in and overnight at the Hotel. (Free to explore M.G Marg for shopping.)
DAY 04: GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry, and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 05: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
After breakfast, in the morning, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around and Baba Harbajan Mandir (Holly Temple) 13200 fts. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at the Hotel. OPTIONAL NATHULA PASS (Subject to availability permit charge direct payable by guest INR 5000/- Per Vehicle if guest want to go)
DAY 06: GANGTOK - NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORT
After breakfast proceeds to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport (136 Kms / 04 & half Hrs) for your onward connection/journey.
